yeah but the show is carried almost singlehandedly by Cao Cao. Also I've noticed that most if not all of the 1 on 1 fights are fully choreographed, but for some reason horrible edited with close ups and jump cuts

As much as I think that Barry Lyndon looks good I don't think it's very cinematic. It's like a series of really well put together stills. It doesn't flow too well as a cinematic experience. Better as a series of pictures.

Wes Anderson's films always look really nice >>81439336 is correct

Colour is important in cinematography
So probably also Hero and "Ran" ,

Gladiator unironically has some good scenes

Then i would add Waterloo for the sheer scale and the uniforms

also this made me laugh:

>Interestingly, for many years after its initial release, the film was only seen on TV in pan-and-scan prints, leading people to believe that DeForest Kelley has a small role near the end of the film. When Fox finally struck a new 35mm CinemaScope print for a film festival in the 1990s, viewers were surprised to see that Kelley was in the film all the way through—he was just always off to one side and thus had been panned out of the frame.
