What you see in those videos is years of work, the robots aren't able to learn for themselves they are just given inputs, when you see them walking around it's either a pre planned path or there's a guy with a remote or the robot if following an image on a guy' backpack. They are basically animating in real life.

CS major here and even I could tell you we aren't code yet. Those robots can barely walk. The dog looking ones can run but we still have a hard time getting these things to run and walk like normal humans. We haven't figure it out. These guys do terrible at the DARPA contests. The robots that win are usually cute Japanese ones that chat by turning into rolling machines instead of running up some stairs or things like that
