It depends on the amount of scenes. Whenever I finish a scene, I start it again in a different language. However, I save English for last. So with every language I don't understand, I try to understand what is actually happening. When I finally get to watch a scene in English, I grade myself on how accurate I was. Unless I get at least 95% accuracy, I don't allow myself to move onto the next scene and I fail the movie. I don't let myself carry on watching, ever again. However I still act as if I've seen the movie online.

90 minutes

the only time the movie it takes me longer to watch than the actual runtime of the movie, is when I watch it with friends or a girlfriend. With friends, it's usually because friends get bored so they turn off the movie halfway through. Or, when they're so loud I can't even hear the movie, so I have to rewatch the movie later. If I actually care about the film

With girlfriend, it's hard to watch a movie, any movie really. She doesn't understand the fact that I don't know anything about the film, I'm watching this for the first time, and no, I have no idea where this character is going to end up, or what's going to happen next. And that's not the worst part really. The worst part is when she starts getting intimate with me. I fucking hate the "netflix and chill culture". If I want to have sex, I have sex. When I want the watch a movie, I watch a damn movie. That's why I rarely watch movies with anyone, and if I do, it's mainly the shittiest, blandest movies ever. I feel capeshit was invented just for this.

NOW resume watching your kino

This, but I tend to have a Vidya on a second monitor as well. And I only check the synopsis at the end, mostly just to get irritationally angry that the bozo that wrote it.

Anyone enjoy playing grindy MMOs while watching some kino? I'm running out of new ones to try, but it's pretty good.
>>
50 minutes accounting for flick playback speed and time distracted with something else.
>>
>>81424733
Too distracting for new movies but I do usually put something on ive already seen when I play games . Makes respawn timers and cut scenes and like you said grinding sessions less boring

I watch films in reverse. Adds 90 minutes to my day.
>>
>>81410497
89 minutes

(i watch it in quantum)
>>
85 minutes. I skip the ending credits.
>>
I've lost the ability to just sit and watch a film without doing anything else. I have to play something simple like Path of Exile while kino-ing.

The last movies that interested me enough to stop what I'm doing and just watch were Shin Godzilla, The Wailing and Silence.

I watched Once Upon A Time In The West (2 hr 45 minutes) and it took me two days..
Had some great shots but it's a little too slow and long.
>>
>>81431099

I lost interest in the story about halfway through. Can't even remember what it was about. Great visuals and music, though.
>>
I mostly have one weed break and two minute-long breaks when I get something to eat. Anything more is degenerate/plebbish

I don't watch the flicks, movies or kinos themselves. That's pleb stuff. I watch the behind the scenes documentaries and interviews and make mental notes along the way. This all culminates to me imagining the whole film in my head down to the minute details, soundtrack included.
>>
45 mins. I usually skip around to the end to see where the story leads while looking at a synopsis, then go back to my spot and skim through. Can't watch anything in a linear fashion anymore
>>
>not watching the whole movie on rewind

Reminds me of a story by Borges.

about a guy trying to write the book Don Quixote from memory but having never actually read it. He just studies derivative works (essays on the book, chapter plot summaries, the use of language and description types, the medieval spanish language) and tries to write it by brute force trying 100s of different variations until happening by chance upon bits which line up.

Its beautiful

>>81435428
this, sadly

and it stays on my hard drive for years even if I only watched half of it
