The first movie is not even good. It's mediocre, it's probably a 6/10 being generous.
Winter Solider, in my opinion, is the best MCU film to date and is goddamn outstanding.
Civil War is enjoyable and was a good summer action movie but not perfect, still one of the best MCU films though.

And in general the idea of "superhero registration " is stupid and a terrible plot idea in literally every single comic that tries it. Vigilante justice is nearly universally agreed upon as a negative. It's not a serious point of discussion

I think the MCU films are a little underestimated.

They inherit from Stan Lee a certain amount of commentary about real world events.

Iron Man 2 in particular skewers the 'charismatic CEO' prancing about on a stage that we are supposed to be inspired by despite and find interesting the fact they no less cunts that cigar chumping tycoons of old.

Its not hugely sophisticated but nobody else is doing it and it needed to be said.

Who else fucking loved Civil War? It was the first movie for me that actually lived up to the promise of a world of superheroes. They're all established, no more "easter eggs" alluding to crossovers. Never thought I would live to see Ant Man kick Spider-Man in a movie. I loved how despite everything it doesn't lose focus on Steve and Tony who were both great. Most people I talk to are morally conflicted about the end, and despite what /tv/ says I see you guys arguing about who is definitively right or wrong.

Dissapointing ending that just ends though but I walked out not believing they pulled it off, more than the Avengers.
