It felt forced. The second and third season it felt like the characters drove the story. The fourth it all felt like the creators moving the characters to get them where they needed to be for the end game and then when they got to the end game it wasn't even worth the payoff, not like the ends to S2 & 3 were at least. Shame, because if they're stuck the landing it would have been Spartacus-tier.

just finished reading TI book, and watching the 1950 and 1990 movies.

The book is great, no pulling punches, lots of deaths... well except for cussing, there is none, but it's narrated by a kid and a gentleman so it's alright.

cuts even the beggining, and some things later on too. Well okay, skipping his father's death looks understandable in a Disney movie. Then again, they dont leave survivors at the end ..

Again, no dead father, but better, longer first act, and overall more accurate to the novel. except for the FUCKING CANNON AND HANDCANNON. The middle is like a Micheal Bay movie! No survivors mentioned at the end neitherm and 0 mentions about LJS having a nigress wife.
