Not even joking, I didn't know what to expect going into this film. It got terrible reviews but /tv/ was claiming it was great so I honestly expected some gigantic problems with the film that was otherwise alright but with conservative values or something

And then this scene came in and I thought "oh great, this scene again". But then it wasn't shit or a retread, I was seriously loving it and the music was phenomenal and I was like "okay, maybe this is why some people like it, a couple of really great scenes and music instead of the usual capeshit song and dance"
And then the film went on, and I kept waiting for it to become shit to explain why people hated it. And it never did

And then I realised, it was one of the best superhero films I'd ever seen
And then I saw the ultimate cut several months later and knew it was without a doubt the GOAT superhero film. Nothing else could compare, not even close
