I don't know exactly when but I think I was beginning to veer off before the reboot.

I first discovered him when I was maybe 12 and thought he was the funniest thing ever. My first introduction to movie riffing.

But like most comedians, the longer you watched the more familiar you became with their style and delivery and it becomes less funny.

I was getting into new stuff and those anniversary specials did nothing to lure me back.

From what I've seen of the reboot he couches each episode with unnecessary metaphors in the form of sketches around the review. And the clipless reviews just show me how little these guys know about production value.

I liked him up until the Reboot, quality had been declining since Kickassia but he was still good IMO. After the reboot, the quality had dropped massively, but was still bearable (but getting worse by the episode).

SJW shit was starting to filter in before that (muh white privilege) but he redeemed himself slightly with Demolition Man, but then the Mad Max review happened. Mad Max was unwatchably terrible, and that finally put the stinking rotting corpse to rest for me.

I put up with that declining quality for way too long, and upon reward hung some of the older reviews, I dind they aren't funny anymore either.
