Just finished over a week, really enjoyed it.
I thought Fargo was the better crime show, but season 2 sealed this one.
Seriously depressing ending though, watching Seinfeld now to take the bitter taste away. It's like after you eat a heavy meal you don't drink beer, you have a soda.

You are an idiot if you think that garbage season 2 was even meh. GTFO.
I unironically enjoyed it too OP.

normies are stupid basically
The dialogue and characters were shit, they were trying to hard to recreate the brilliance of rust. The reason rust worked was because of the acting, it was just one character, and Marty was the perfect juxtaposition to him(basically the audience fill in). In s2 they were tried to make everyone like rust. All the characters spewed some of the most garbage dialogue I've heard in a tv show or movie, it was pure verbal diarrhea. While the dialogue of rust in s1 was a bit "edgy" it actually served a purpose to the themes of the show and the character. The character of rust was done in a nuanced way. The dialogue in s2 was absolutely meaningless and pizza man was trying to hard to make his characters seem "smart" and "deep", he put zero thought into this shit
You ever hear the saying 'Curiosity killed the cat?' Well I'm Curiosity and I kill pussies.

If you go back and pay attention, you'll realize that Frank doing a bad imitation of Rust was basically the entire point of his character. He's an upjumped hood that thinks he's playing 4D chess with all the big bosses but he doesn't realize that they don't give a shit about him because that's all he is to them. That "apoplectic" scene wasn't Ray just channeling Rust for perspicacity's sake, it was a direct challenge to Frank because he knew Frank didn't know what the fuck that word meant either.

even if that was the case it wasn't done well, his over confident attitude made him unlikable and thus his downfall wasn't as tragic. Compare this with the similar arc of Stringer Bell, this character generated real empathy so his fall was tragic.

>his over confident attitude made him unlikable and thus his downfall wasn't as tragic
That's because he fought what everyone thought of him to the very end. That's why his death walk was so tragic, you massive pleb. You and all of reddit missed out on a great character and arc all because you wanted True Detective S2: Cthulhu Boogaloo, instead of a meditation on ambition and self-delusion.

Unironically better than season 1.
Plebs just didn't understand.

Had big shoes to fill after season one. Didn't fill them.
No naked anal scene.
tfw season 3 might not happen
