An awesome movie. From a time when movies could be completely ridiculous and focus on entertaining the viewer, rather than some fucking post-modern social message or guilt trip about slavery or the patriarchy or shit.

To make things worse, they're remaking BTILC. Why? Who the fuck asked for that? It's not like modern cinema will radically change the experience.

This movie was some serious original content in a time where action movies were getting stale as fuck. The effects were great, the acting was spot on, and the story was fucking nuts... and then add Kung fu and you've got a hit.

I love this movie more than I can say. Its like a live action Coast to Coast AM episode. And as campy as it is it seems like the actors had fun and the movie was given a lot of love.
