I was asked how long I'd been watching Doctor Who (5-10 years), if I considered myself a fan of the Classic Series (Yes), why I liked Doctor Who, what my favorite episode was, who my favorite Doctor was, and how much of NuWho I'd watched. Then, I was asked to give a one-line review of Series 9, and to report how I normally kept up with Doctor Who news.

Then I was asked how I felt about a promo photo, and I was asked if I'd seen the 4 main trailers/promo videos and I was asked to rank them. I was then asked, on a scale of 1-10, "based on the trailers," how likely I was to watch series 10. Of course I'll watch it no matter what, so I put 10. The trailers have nothing to do with it.

I was asked with whom I was likely to watch the series (ha). I was asked at whom I thought Doctor Who was aimed, age-wise, and I maintained that it was for all ages. Then I was asked what I'm looking forward to in series 10.

The saddest thing about the Cartmel Masterplan is that there wasn't one. Had the show not been cancelled, Cartmel would have left anyway to work on Casualty, McCoy would've left and regenerated into Uncle Vernon from Harry Potter, and Ace would've been bused away to Gallifrey. I actually think Sleep no more is one of the best episodes of series 9. It is well directed, has interesting characters, I loved the transsexual soldier a good step towards wider representation for us of the transgender community. The monsters were also extremely unique and had a sort of haunting old Gothic noel feel to them. The POV shots were also an interesting style to take, by far a very underrated episode. Mark Gatiss will be cherished and loved in retrospect.
