Fuck, this entire passage was surreal. How he was "laying about with that axe" and nobody seemed particularly interested in stopping him. Derry is the most evil entity in the book.
>>
>>81376318
The historical accounts of Derry were by far the most interesting things in the book.

> that three year haunting that resulted in the entire town disappearing.

I would really like to learn more about the town. Those side stories that delved into its history were some of my favorite parts. Really enjoyed the bit of Derry we got in 11/22/63.

Thats Eddie Corcoran, the boy who runs away from home after realising his little brother was killed by their father. His brother appears to him and IT hunts him down in the form of 'The Creature from the Black Lagoon'.
>>
>>81372891

> At the age of five, Patrick had a baby brother named Avery Hockstetter. Although Patrick initially had no problems with his parents having kids, he was only worried about whether or not that new child would "replace him" and become a "real mortal" like himself. Patrick eventually became delusional to the point where he murders his own baby brother. On one dark afternoon, Patrick had sneaked into Avery's room while the baby was still asleep. Patrick then smothered Avery to death with his pillow, being sexually thrilled as he does so. Later on that day when Patrick's mother had found Avery dead, he sat and watched television while his mother screamed during the entire process of Avery's body being removed. His father later saw the marks Patrick's wet boots had made on the floor and slammed the door so hard the frame split in a fit of rage after coming to a realization, he never questions Patrick about it though.

I was born in 94, so i saw it on syndication years later when i was like 3 and my stupid dad fell asleep while we're watching tv. One of my earliest memories is me seeing all 4 hours petrified.

My mom tells me i was afraid of bathrooms, sinks and flushing the toilet for some reason, but i don't remember any of it. And of course, i supposedly hated clowns.

Watched it again when i was like 14 and had an incredible time just seeing how cheesy and funny it was.

Well the trailer has a Bradley Gang mural next to the burning door Mike is shitting his pants at. It doesn't have Pennywise's face on it. Then there's this picture where you do see Pennywise's face added in. It would be cool if the sequel had a flashback of some new tragedy set in the 1950s. Due to IT's cycle a big tragedy had to have happened then. I wouldn't mind seeing something totally new.
