I listened to Gareth Edwards do a live Q&A with half of the guys behind the Han Solo movie (Chris Miller). Gareth said people live in gray areas. He had an image of the man who built the Death Star playing with his daughter. Chris followed up by making a jokey comment about Greedo talking to his wife and kid and how he'll always look after them before he goes to get Han.
Point is that I want to see a movie from the "Dark side". To me a more interesting movie would be about the Empire and look at them in a different light than evil.
