Seriously, you liked Black Hawk Down, right?
MW2 would have been the quintessential COD game if it had received support and fixes from Infinity Ward. When people weren't abusing Commando and One Man Army it was a really great game.

>Marvel Cinematic Universe
Dropped instantly

I mean thats multiplayer though. The single player campaign especially of MW2 & 3 were really fun.
>>81341655
They're just saying they want to make it an intertwining franchise like Marvel did, thats all.

>The pair are also looking at a TV series focused on historical conflicts such as World War 2 and Vietnam, which is how the Call of Duty franchise started, again mirroring Marvel’s four series on Netflix: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
tfw WW2 CoD series is the next Band of Brothers
>“We put together this group of writers to talk about where we were going. There’ll be a film that feels more like Black Ops, the story behind the story. The Modern Warfare series looks at what it’s like to fight a war with the eyes of the world on you. And then maybe something that is more of a hybrid, where you are looking at private, covert operations, while a public operation is going on.”
100% guaranteed to have William Fichtner in it
>>81341762
>he didn't play the Black Ops campaign
only if Michael Bay directs it.
I honestly feel like a call of duty series has way better chance to succeed critically and commerically than any other video game movie/show/whatever that's been attempted so far
>the best video game movies have reached is decent in an ironic camp sort of way
>all recent attempts with big budgets and actors have been absolute fucking disaters criticality and commercially
What are they thinking here?
