The Carrie and Quinn relationship is good as well, but it inevitably had to involve some romance and feelings. Saul and Carrie has more of a father-daughter type of relationship.

All that said I think it really boils down to Claire Danes being one hell of an actress.

It's a show that should have ended last season. Didn't Quinn die at the end of last one? He was in a coma, Carrie pulled his life support, I cried. It was a major emotional thing. Carrie fucked up and let his friend die, twice. Then comes this fucking season and he's walking around, has a minor speech impediment and his other leg doesn't work. Like what the fuck?
