Hi, I'd like some recomendations for modern drama/thriller films. This is specially for a "family movie night". So nothing too slow or 2deep4you (lol, sorry). Something not too bloody (a little R-rated blood is fine).
We had recently enjoyed:
-Arrival
-Hell or High Water (this was a little slow, but had good action and story).
-The Girl on the Train (my dad snoozed through this one, but my mom and I liked it).
-Hacksaw Ridge (this was a great movie for the family, a lot of blood but the story was above that).
-Something like Silver Linings Playbook could work too.
Bonus point if it has good comedy in it.
Picture unrelated.

Run (1991)
Conspiracy Theory
Terminal Velocity
Live Wire

Are these actually good?
They seem subpar spy thrillers from the 90s

You asked for recommendations, you got 'em, I enjoyed them a lot, your mileage may vary.

Deepwater Horizon is a good disaster film everybody can enjoy
13 Hours was good too, it wasn't gratuitously violent or anything like that

Yeah, sorry.

Deepwater Horizon seems good
Something along the lines of the movies I mentioned? They're above "mindless entertainment" (oscar nominated) but not 2deep4you.
We also watched Winter's Bone some weeks ago, it was a little slow but the story was interesting.
