I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but Insurrection is the best TNG movie. First Contact was great, but Insurrection felt like an extended TNG episode with more action and bigger set pieces. It's a shame it performed poorly enough that Paramount chose to take the franchise away from Frames and fuck everything up with Nemesis.

It had some episode-like qualities but the villains were more 2D than normal. Not as 2D as borg queen, of course. Generations or bust.

I literally just started watching it. Never caught anything but a few reruns. On episode 3, it's not as bad as the puppets make out.

Season 1 was fun, characters are still weary of each other so it makes for interesting episodes. Maybe it was because of how fresh the show was to me but it seemed like the first season had so much adventure and different settings compared to the other seasons.
Look forward to seeing A Human Reaction later on in s1 its a good one
