Sup /tv/.
I am a total faggot and have fallen in love with British television. I have become especially keen on period dramas.
Peaky Blinders is next on my list. Any recommendations for some stuff as kino as pic related?
Just the best period dramas in general. I really enjoy the miniseries format a ton, as well as stuff based on novels. What is good?
>Downton Abbey S1-3
>Foyle's War
>Taboo (Come for the period and Tom Hardy, not so much the drama)

Be very careful now..

Thanks m8. I'll definitely check out Taboo, I dig Tom Hardy. Drama is preferred, but not a necessity. I'm just a sap.
Downton Abbey is really as good as they say huh? I'll have to check it out. Will I be good with just Seasons 1-3? 6+ seems heavy.

>Downton Abbey
somebody tricked me in to watching it a while back.
I forced myself to finish the second season.
Never started the 3th season.

My girlfriend made me watch this, it was fucking shit.
I hate period dramas, they're the dullest, most lifeless generic crap pumped out to appease boring middle-aged tory women with false nostalgia and cringey anachronisms.

The recent War and Peace series by BBC starring Paul Dano is really good.
And Then There Were None mini-series starring Sam Neill is pretty decent from what I remember too.

I started Happy Valley two weeks ago, I love it a lot, sadly no news about season 3, the writer says it should be the definitive end

I love the acting and the tense situations that Catherine pass through, the actress really did a good job.
I love BBC shows but sadly there's not so many in Netflix

Yeah, I used Amazon Prime for Parade's End. They've got a lot of stuff from BBC on there.

And Then There Were None looks REALLY good. I really enjoyed Sam Neill in To the Ends of the Earth, so I'll definitely be checking this out. It is a damn shame it isn't streaming anywhere though. I'll have to rent/buy/pirate.
Thanks for the recommendation!
