Nah they radically differnt, tonally and in pacing.

The movie it's incredible long and make you tense for every minute, for a movie with so many scenes, they all are very similar tonally, colors are dark but not overdone and the lighting it's brilliant.

The Zodiac case it's fascinating on it's own too.
