Too many things I hated. Why was Jeff Bridges character so blah about escaping? That whole thing where he gave thumbs up to his kid to start fucking his digital concubine was weird. And doing an aerial version of light cycles just didn't work.
CGI young Jeff Bridges was also brutal. I can handle Clu but that flashback was a terrible idea.

I think he was willing to give up on escaping so easily because, first, he had been stuck in there fucking forever - what had been 30 years on the outside was way more on the inside, right? He was still alive because he was digital. Second, Quorra was the last evidence of digital life spontaneously occurring. It seemed very unlikely all three of them could escape, so why not let his own son escape with the most important discovery of his life?
Young Jeff Bridges was terrible, I totally agree. They should have just used the back of his head. I think they included it so people new to the series knew who the fuck Clu was supposed to look like.

Honestly, the biggest problem with Prometheus is just that it ends up playing out like a run of the mill slasher film, inspite of what the protagonists are supposed to be. If you can look past that, it's a pretty good watch.
I'll spoiler this in case you haven't heard the memes butbasically it has the kind of stupid shit where people who are in radio contact with a guy who has a full map of a location along with their position get lost there without anyone noticing, and on top of that, one of them is the guy who made the map.

But that's about it really.
I didn't give a shit about any of the characters. Even Quora, outside of wanting to fuck her harder than I've ever wanted to fuck something, is just a boring dry fart in a story that's one boring dry fart after another.
It's weird, the problem with the script is that it tries to do too much, but in the laziest way possible.
And the whole back story of what happened BETWEEN the movies was a more interesting story than what we got.
Son of Flynn is a boring empty shell too. His only characteristic is that he's great at everything, and that he's soooo angsty. They may have just as well called him Coldsteel Flynn.
