Considering the way it ended had to be the way it ended, I think it handled it pretty well.

John Silver IS pointing a gun at him. There's the "reaction" by Israel Hands and the gang to something that looks spontaneous, as if a loud noise was heard.

The cinematography of the part where Flint goes to the plantation is different from rest of the show, at least w/r/t to lighting and coloringg. when the opening scene of the fag asking about the prisoner is in normal lighting and coloring. That was the message left by this final season. Eleanor chose love, but Rogers chose war, and she dies because of it, silver and flint chose love over war and it saved their future and countless of lives. The Pirates could never have won, there needed to be civilization, and ending it off the way they did was the only way to solidify a future for all those involved.

The only gripe I have with this season is how predictable it was, I know I'm not the only one who knew exactly how the end was going to play out as soon as max mentioned that plantation with the "nobodies". Flint was already a problem at that point and I could already see him there by the end of the show. And when Rackham got to the Guthries and she made her proposition (about disposing of Flint or no deal) it just reassured, without a shadow of a doubt that it'd happen. In that moment I literally paused and made a predication in my head. Jack would intercept the trade, Take Rogers and Flint captive, Flint would be sent off to the island never to be seen again, Silver would live in nu Africa with his wife and the Guthries/Max would save Nassau. The only thing I got wrong is that they didn't retrieve the cash.

I liked it mostly because the idea of the man who was flint being "unmade" after learning of Thomas is really neat

like James Mcgraw created flint after thomas died to do what he needed to, and flint began to take over and finally flint completely hijacked Mcgraw's body after mrs hamilton died. But discovering thomas was alive ressurected him and vanquished flint

Artist here, I'm making a comic about pirates, wanted to test the waters.
I'm going for a whacky-hijinks SoL about the less than glamorous side of being a pirate. It follows various crew members on a 200~ people ship trying to pass the months sailing while avoiding starvation, illness, and boredom. A lot of filth and bickering with a colorful cast getting into shenanigans trying to avoid work and making the most out of shitty situations.
