The obscure novelization for this film is infamous for adding a LOT of filler that is generally considered by critics as nonsensical, long-winded, and unnecessary, often going into full purple prose mode. This is in part because the book had like 40 writers (most of them credited with obvious psudonyms like "Jeremiah" and "Peter", probably to avoid any further relationship with the franchise), and that was just the original edition, as it has been rewritten severl times by a lot of people. Still, the book has gained a following and is considered of cult.
