For women it keeps the rough figure of 6+ years age difference, so as women get older they want continuously older men. The thing is though that today the career meme has taken hold of a lot of women, so women who want to be a sassy cool successful career woman is going to hit her early 30s and find that the vast majority of men her age want women who are a decade younger than her. And they get them. The same way she got them when she was a decade younger.
