Rob Ager is a mixed bag. His The Thing analysis was pretty interesting and well thought out. However a lot of his other videos are him just rambling on and on and on and any point that he makes really only exists in the film itself.

If you liked the old one yeah, but then again it is very different. Art style doesn't seem to have changed, which is nice, I really like the simplified character designs. I think you actually notice the silence in this one as well, and silence was one of the qualities that made Jack stand out. I love the action scenes, the music is pretty nice (I loved the Ecstacy of Gold remix in Ep. 2). However, even though it is narrative and more grimdark, it seems to have silliness. Idk if this is really much of a spoiler or not, but in episode 2 aku is shown, and hes the exact same Aku as before, silly and kinda unstable. So yeah, if you like that stuff I think you would enjoy the show. Sorry for being so lengthy.

Probably the most recent HitB I didn't really agree with was TFA. IIRC, that review was generally positive, but I would have more harshly criticized TFA. Overall, I consider TFA a mediocre soft reboot that played on nostalgia and un-originality to scoop everyone aboard the hype train for the endless trash to come.

The Rogue One HitB I pretty much agreed with on all levels.
