Memes aside, what was Parker's fucking problem?

it was a long trip, and he just wanted to go home instead of getting side-tracked into doing something else. Most understandable character in the movie

The bonus situation will be explained in a sequal marketed as a prequal that will be released in 2025.
So many things they can build movies around now simply to reboot a franchise or have a reason to cash in with a """""sequal""""" since creativity is 150% dead in hollywood.
Most likely it will feature Parkers son or nonsense trying to discover the real reason his father died, then he stumbles upon greedy enterprises witholding the money discussed around the time the bonus situation came up so they could hoard it all themselves and give nothing back to the workers.
I can see it already, ITHZAK, get the type writer, I smell MOOOOONEEEEEY!
Can we discuss the benis situation?

This is beautiful.

Lawyer here.
Mr. Parker felt that the bonus situation has never been on an equitable level. He brought it up several times throughout the film.
The crew should be compensated for their work, and most of the crew was offered full shares as a bonus, but the engineers were given only half a share. So it wasn't in his contract. It seems pretty cut and dry.
But then they wanted to do a rescue mission on that fucking planet. That shit wasn't in his contract so he wanted to renegotiate the contract where he got some compensation for his work. Ash and Dallas rolled him on some shit about not paying him at all.
Ripley said they were guaranteed by law to get a share, so if they lived they probably would have gotten a full share anyway. It would be nice to see a after credits scene where their families got a full share after their death.
