Hollywood these days seems way too far up its own ass. Totally joyless, and overly serious.

Excellent movie. It clearly captures the essence of the cartoon while going to the vintage/Nostalgia route.

The plot is well done and while you already know how it will end, it is enjoyable to see Speed to go through all those challenges.

What happened to Hirsch? I only remember him from this and Alpha Dog.

True story, I actually worked on the video game for this movie (bet you didn't even know there was one).

You guys have no idea how much world-building they did behind the scenes. The movie doesn't even acknowledge the tip of the iceberg on how much of a crazy universe they built. Way too much bad dialogue and made-up "drama" and horrific "comedy".
