None of those monsters are teased. All Fuknaga did was give variations of zombies. A hot chick in a bath that turns into an undead looking chick (ripoff of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining) to Stanley at his jewish barmitsva., dead children from the Ironworks explosion to Patrick before killing him offscreen. Patrick Hock"stettlar" in the morgue to Mike, Beverly's dad does the scene from the book where he tries raping her pretty much, and of course Geogie in the flooded basement to Bill. They're not. There's alway big differences between spec script, shooting script and the film itself.

A lot of the scipts you find online are made AFTER the movie is filmed. They're basically novellisations in script form.

I remeber reading the Ginger Snaps spec script and shooting script. The movie was different than both of them (but closer to the shooting script, except the 3rd act).

That case (GS) is a great example of a story getting better after each version. Not all movies are that lucky.
