daily reminder that the studio thinks this will actually start a cinematic universe
>>81165549
she sure as hell starts my cinematic universe if you get mu drift
It's got based Tom in it, how could it possibly fail?
>OT VIII star
>flop
pick one, SP
>casting le scientology guy
>>81165549
they have Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe.
this is like the only cinematic universe with A listers who can actually act.
It has Tom Cruise. Calm your tits it's going to be fine.
I hope it's good. A Van Helsing universe sounds fucking sweet
>>81165649
Has this fucker ever starred in a failed movie?
Must be them Scientology magic from raping 12 year olds.
>>81165549
they're not the only ones
>>81165899
>King Arthur cinematic universe
I get the monsters one, but King fucking Arthur, really? What were they thinking?
>>81165649
Jack Reacher 2
Knight and Day
Oblivion
>>81165954
what youre not interested in a Sir Gawain origin movie?
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHH

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

HHHNNNNNNNGGGGGGG
>>81165870
Edge of Tomorrow and Oblivion both did poorly even though reviews were good. Pretty sure the studios wrote those films off as failures.
>>81165954
believe it or not the actual Arthurian legends lend themselves easily to that sort of thing, but for starters it probably wouldn't appeal to anyone but enthusiasts and more to the point this looks like Warcraft tier dogshit. I honestly think only Jackson straight off of LOTR could've come close to making such a thing a success.
>russell crowe as henry jekyll
That is the really interesting part for me
>>81165899
Robin Hood too
dude from Kingsman is Robin and Jamie Foxx is Little John
>>81165649
no brendan no buy
they thought dracula untold would start a cinematic universe as well
>>81166454
theyre ignoring that film even though it was supposed to be the official start
>that time jump to present day at the end
>>81165899
>>81166331
If these movies are successful does it mean Brexit really was a success?
>>81166331
Of course they cast YET ANOTHER nog.
At this point, it would be more surprising if they had an all indigenously-white cast.
>>81166555
so close
>>81166454
I think it was actually supposed to start with The Wolfman!
>>81165549
Ancient Egypt is boring and gay, apart from Stargate.
>>81165741
Xenu pls go
Will it befun?
>>81165796
It does but not the way theyre doing it. They fucked up with dracula untold and now theyre basically making the same mistake.
It should have a more classic horror monster feel to it. Like Van Helsing did, and they could pull back on the campiness and humor and it would be great. Instead it just looks like over the top action when it should be more focused on the horror aspect of it
>>81166829
>tfw there will never be a Brendan Fraser Mummy universe
>>81166553
sure why not
I doubt they can do better than Brendon's Mummy, Tom Cruise mught be likable but I don't think he can do it the same way Brandon did with Rick O'Connoll.
Plus what's the payoff of this universe? An Avengers villan movie or a monster suicide squad?
Wasn't this supposed to be the start of the shared universe? I thought it was /comfy/, will it b disregarded?
>>81166829
There is only one explanation: Jews
They could make the first official horror cinematic universe but no they decided that doesn't sell so they stick running man in there with a shitload of over the top quality ridden garbage, not even counting the "FUCK production value" CGI that will infest the film like a visible cancer.
Then they decide to stick a woman mummy in there when everyone knows only man mummies can draw a crowd.
I don't even know who is making this movie, producing it, or running the studio, but I would bet my last dollar it was a Jew.

there literally is one already with 6 movies
>>81167836
scorpion king was absolute shit. i mean a van helsing universe with it
>>81167175
Apparently it will be forgotten which makes no sense because it wasn't a bad movie at all
>>81167114
Van Helsing Monster Killing Adventure.
>>81167875
Would they add Scorpion King as one of the monsters?
>>81165954
It could be done but not on film. Movies are a dry as shit medium.
