I completed Witcher 3 main story and got the fucking ending where my beloved Ciri walks out on me and fucking dies, where Triss and Yen both tell me to fuck off, Dandelion is just standing there doing nothing in the whorehouse and Baron hangs himself. This game has left a hole in my heart that I won't be able to fill in. I'm fucking destroyed. I wanted to play the expansions but then I saw Ciri die and Geralt get all broken inside in the swamp. It fucking hurt. Not even my 22 years of virginity hurt so bad.

And it's shit.

There was a show that was marginally better than the movie, and that's because the movie seemed to be made out of fragments of show put together in the most coherent way(that was still impossible to understand).

The acting is terrible too. There is that guy who tended to play blind policeman in a certain comedy show/sitcom and guess what, he's still squeezing his eyes when he plays his part because he always squeezed them on set of said comedy show. It became a routine for him in a way. This is prevalent across basically all actors there, outside of the guy who played Geralt who at least tried to be in character a little bit. The rest went in thinking "hey I'm gonna make easy money out of this fantasy crap and get back on making more money in theatre or tv shows that run for like a century now, that's the perfect plan for me" and it ended up in the whole thing being incredibly shit. Low budget special effects - I can forgive it, but shitty acting, no fucking way.

The first game isn't that ugly to be completely honest, you can cherrypick something that looks nice once in a blue moon. The biggest problem is the combat which is variation of Diablo combat dressed up as third person action game which creates huge cognitive dissonance. Oh and once you enter the swamp prepare for forcing yourself to beat it, it gets much, much better afterwards but this thing is a torture(that being said that's something you would expect from swamps in any game, or sewer if we're at it).

I actually couldn't be arsed to finish W3, it's too long winded, the inventory/crafting and side quest system is shit. Most of all I just don't give a fuck about who is Geralt's true waifu and the wild hunt seemed like a huge let down - and worst of all the politics were really badly written and dumbed down from Witcher 2.

Witcher 2 was all intrigue and politics, Witcher 3 is a fucking soap opera.

Fuck this game. I got the ending where Ciri and Geralt are all happy hunting together, but you can sense that something is bothering Ciri the entire time. And sure enough, her fucking father (he's pretty cool though, gotta be honest) sends an envoy or some shit to pick her up. She's off to live unhappily for the greater good and Geralt is all sad.
Immediately replayed the game and got the witcher ending for Ciri instead.

Never before has a game tugged on my heartstrings like this.
