Agreed, I felt like if I hadn't seen the original short I would have had a much better opinion. Having seen it though I just went "Oh they just added another 85 minutes of runtime to it".

There wasn't much of a plot and that was why people disliked it. I still enjoyed it for the animation, music, world and action scenes.
