The videogames market is easy to dominate. All you have to do is spending more money than competitors. It's purely a technical medium. It isn't as easy with movies. There are some artistic criteria involved. And the rate profits/budget is supposed to be higher.

Video games industry follows exactly the same formula as hollywood to make consistent money. The 'technical' side of things are irrelevant next to brand recognition and marketing first, and the real winners are the ones innovating distribution, not production/development.
