but the character is a mary sue who can do no wrong in the script and who is adored by nearly every allied character for no particularly good reason (as opposed to the manga/ anime where she got her stripes from previous experience and generally shows competence)

also they made an actual subplot about the reason why she isn't asian, or asian-casted

there is also a small scene where Batou shares the urinal with a dude who looks like a chick but that's meant more as lame comedic relief

it was a lame blend between deus ex (the recent games), robocop (also the recent one), with some throwaway 1:1 shots that come straight out of the Oshii movie

also no fuchikoma's because no fun allowed

the most positive thing I can say about this version is that beat takeshi was decent casting because he clearly didn't give a fuck which gave him a semblance of character as opposed to the others zombies trying to act. Batou is not to bad either, but he's too much of a pussywhipped faggot in this one
