It isn't one thing anon. And it gets even more subjective when you add the dimension of enjoyment.
There are plenty of objectively shitty movies that I love the fuck out of. Ask me how many times I've seen Romy & Michelle's highschool reunion.
While there are movies that I recognize as objectively well made films that you couldn't pay me to watch again.

Good: cohesive story, you hate/like a character because of their actions not because of the guy playing it, makes you laugh/feel weird in your peepee/sad.
