Murder on the Orient Express was great. I hope that Branagh can do it justice.

I hate to choose, but Poirot on the screen is better than Poirot in print.
You know how you read a book and you build this little picture in your head of what this character or that character look like? I've found that, if a TV show is cast right or if the actor nails the part, then that little head picture gets replaced.
Suchet immediately replaced my "head picture" of Poirot.
Basil Rathbone was my Holmes until I saw Jeremy Brett and Brett is still Holmes for me despite Downey, Cumberbatch, etc. Finney had been my Poirot for years thanks to the 70s "Murder on the Orient Express" movie. Then I saw Suchet and he's Poirot as far I'm concerned.
Branagh's good, great even. I loved the Shakespeare stuff, "Wallander", most of his work. I'll see the new movie too, but I don't think Branagh is going to Suchet as my "head picture" of Poirot though.
