Just browsing across Netflix and I happened across this.
Are you fucking kidding me?
Metastasis is the spread of cancer cells to new areas of the body (often by way of the lymph system or bloodstream). A metastatic cancer, or metastatic tumor, is one which has spread from the primary site of origin (where it started) into different area(s) of the body.

This is an official adaptation though, it's not a porn parody.

Whats the point of it?
There's an entire segment of the industry that just makes low budget rip offs. You should also be able to find Atlantic Rim on Netflix. There's a Battle: Los Angeles one too, but I can't recall the exact title.

indeed

What impresses me more is that Netflix actually bothers to acquire these.

Its just Breaking Bad for spanish speaking people. It was very popular with them because it took place in New Mexico and other southern places. This is an officially made version just for the Mexican crowd, it basically follows Breaking Bad beat for beat.

What is the point of the American version of the The Office?
>>81090443
This.
>>81090347
Once again the American remake was shit compared to the original.
It's just an adaptation like the UK version of Wallander.

not even close
This is literally a shot for shot, word for word recreation, but with shittier acting, sets and language.
Spanish is actually my native language but colombian dialect is laughable.

but this is not a rip-off, it's a official adaptation

And that's definitely the biggest flaw. You have the opportunity to get creative with a different cultural take on things and it ends up just being a lower budget Spanish language version. It's Breaking Bad, shot for shot.

To make more money with liscensing fees for the original company and the company producing the new show.
duh

I've never heard of an adaptation that is literally 100% faithful like that. Are there any other shows like this?
