Today's episode made her 100 times more likeable and human. She's slowly growing on the audience I guess. Not like Drummer, who pretty much stole everyone's heart the first episode she appeared in.

I love this new Bobby who thinks for herself instead of regurgitating Martian propaganda, and who is fascinated by Earth and its beauty. In a way, she died and was reborn again, she's now like a child full of wonders and questions, but I can also see goodness there. I highly approve of this character development. She's changing for the better.

Felt like a BIOWARE rpg game with all these stupid characters that only filled their role to guide the main characters to the main plot, like for example, the chink doctor friend that helped them, or the manlet that somehow has a shitton of supplies with no guards or protection.

Its much more emphasized in the books, although I've just started book two so I'm not sure if it's a show only scene.

Holden specifically was irked that he had to take Alex along on the shuttle to the distress call ship instead of his go to guy. He didn't like Alex accent and the fact that he never shut up. Pretty amusing, book and show Alex are both dope.

Interesting of note would be out of all the accents that could have stuck around, it was the stupid fucking Texas accent that ended up being he one a lot of martians spoke.

I'm kinda sad that they couldn't adapt some of the little details that made the novels stand out for me, mostly the way they deal with distance, in that not only does it take ages to physically move from A to B, but also little things like communications working via lasers that calculate your route to actually hit you ship, because they are so far away that even light can take 15 minutes to reach you.
Some stuff they tried but it is barely noticable, like the size and form of the belters, but I guess it is hard to find a load of slendermen to play them.
