I heard they're releasing 2 movies, one with the characters as kids and the sequel for when they grow up and come back to deal with IT. Seems weird, is the novel told in strictly chronological order like that? Seems like a flashback structure would be better to juxtapose the childhood trauma and the resulting adult pathologies.

The book describes them as kid but also switching to present day at points and then the second half is just present day

Is this something to be proud of? I don't get it. As long as you see the trailer in a reasonable amount of time to discuss it with your peers or whoever, then what does it matter if you were the 5th or millionth?

Yay another movie for TV autists to hate without having seen and then be proven wrong when it ends up being good.
