Yeah, our mental health service is stretched way beyond capacity and they give patients the massive benefit of the doubt. One of my parents is schizophrenic and it's fucking insane how much it takes for them to finally accept to section them, then they let them out in only a week or something. Even someone like James who's so obviously gonna die from what's essentially addiction and delusion would never get sectioned.

Getting off-topic now, but getting rid of the asylums was a catastrophe. James would probably have a better outcome there than wasting space in a notmal hospital.
