Its cool being able to look up all the old posts, I think that's pretty great. The genre discussion boards I've checked out have been pretty dead though. I'd register but I can't think of an alias to use.

I look up movies on moviechat.org and themoviedb.org now instead of on IMDB now, but I've noticed there's much less discussions about new movies/actors on both, and some movies don't even have any, I hope one of them pulls off and becomes the new IMDB for discussion purposes.

I never actually participated in IMDB threads, I just used to read them, so for that purpose moviechat is pretty good (although as >>80990714 >>80989970 said it doesn't seem to have the entire archive).
