My other idea would've been to have Rick somehow go back to his old house, he's alone, stranded from the others, walkers are coming in from every possible direction, he's made himself a barricade but it isn't going to last long. The only thing he has on him is a gun with one bullet left. He looks at an old photograph of his family and is reminded of the pre-apocalypse times just as the barricade is loosening and walkers begin pouring in.

I actually only just got into this show, I marathoned the whole thing so far over a couple weeks. Now I'm fully up to date. I guess this is a good thread to talk about something I've been looking into -

What the fuck is going on at AMC? What kind of fucking circus are they running? After learning about the backstory and disputes behind shows such as BrBa, Mad Men and of course tWD, I'm wondering why the fuck anyone even wants their show on that channel?

I was reading into how they fucked Darabont over, about the issues on season 2 (thank fuck I was able to marathon that), how the budget was gutted, and AMC had no interest in talking about it despite the show being their biggest asset? Man, that really made my blood boil, reading about the way the execs handled it all.

There was a good interview on YouTube with the guy who played the dead soldier in the Tank in S1, about ideas for what they wanted to do, and how the cast were unhappy with the way AMC treated Darabont.

Im still enjoying the show, even this season, but that is likely due to my not having to wait between all this filler. I guess I'm in the trenches with you guys next season when this war storyline gets dragged out over 16 eps.

The worst part of TWD is easily waiting a week between filler episodes just waiting to see what actually impactful thing happens next. And sometimes there will be 3-4 slow episodes in a row.

When you're catching up in the series, it's fine because you can just blast through the filler episodes and watch multiple ones in a row, but it sucks absolute dick once you're all caught up. The writing in this show pisses me off so much sometimes.
