Watched it when my empathy really started to develop. Why it was so popular it hit a cord with many youths of the day. Season 1 to 4's a 10/10, series 7 was a real nice and optimistic end. Got strong shivers at the end of Cooke's episode

I was sixteen when skins came out and I that was about when I got my first girlfriend. She really liked the series and we would go out many times with friends, drinking and having fun, sometimes smoking weed, it was pretty fun.

While it's the kind of series that is designed to make you feel like you missed out on your teenage years and it obviously has an effect on me, I most often just roll my eyes at how retarded they are and it makes me glad my teenage years weren't anything cool but at least I remember them with nostalgia as the days everything went right in my life.
