Apparently it was explained better in the books. He was delusional, an unreliable narrator.
Phil Collins is goat.

He likely murdered, but he doesn't know which ones he murdered and which ones were all in his head.
That people in his world are so self obsessed that he could literally get away with murder and no one would notice. Also checkem

I genuinely hate to be that guy but the book was so much better. The habitrail scene alone made it worth it to read

He didn't kill anyone. It was all in his head. A fantasy.
It's was allabout these dubs
Something something neoliberalism something something social inequality something something elitist conspiracy something something demonic possession something something infinite love, God, the universe, something something breaking the cycle.
aka pure genius
Also read read READ the book.
>A curtain of stars, miles of them, are scattered, glowing, across the sky and their multitude humbles me, which I have a hard time tolerating.

He realized that his life was empty and that he wasn't really a super cool murderer who has sex all the time, and that it was all in his head. He was a victim of the boring office room lifestyle were nothing eventful happens. Upon realizing how fucking empty his life really is when he finally figured out that everything that happened was all in his head, that's when he really snapped.

I'm almost halfway through the book, I'm hooked on how Bateman tries desperately not to sperg out in front of his friends and then blatantly doesn't give a fuck about his life at others, but I've heard the book gets really hard to read once the murders start piling up. Is it as bad as people say?
Dubs it was real
Singles it was a dream

No. I smiled the whole way through those parts.

I was surprised how accurate the representation of a sociopath was, if you read about serial killers, or sociopaths, or are a sociopath yourself, you will notice how accurate it is, not because the crimes and that shit, but because bateman's thinking and dialogues

>What does /tv/ think?
