I've watched 5 episodes of the show. Two just today. I also wanted to know if it was good but the only way I could know was by watching it myself.
I've seen Daredevil as well. This show is not as well shot as DD, looks more cheap. The fight scenes are pretty much nothing. The story is better than DDs so far.
I heard Tennant was good, so I'm pretty much only watching for him (only know him from Broadchurch), but he's barely in it so far.
It's a bit noir-y which is good, love film-noirs but noirs are usually well shot, and this show looks plain.
I think it was the third episode that just had non-stop sex scenes between Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, it was a bit much but it was only one episode.
Overall, it's a pretty meh show. Wouldn't recommend. Though you can always watch and decide for yourself. I'm gonna keep watching to see more Tennant then drop it once he's gone or whatever.

It's the best Netflix superhero show.

The real complaint is that it could have been two hours long. It's basically that episode of The X-Files where Mulder goes against the guy who can make people do things for about four more hours than the narrative can actually sustain.

It has a cool dark neo-noire vibe the side cast is decent and the villain is probably the moat interesting one of any superhero prosperity today, It starts really strong nd the story draws you in. The cons are it drags during the second half of the season, Ritter feels miscast, and action scenes are few and weak. If that whole package sounds like your cup of tea I would recommend the show

In my personal opinion, Jessica Jones is alright but not amazing, it's definitely got some really cool parts, I haven't seen the last episode yet though. I liked Daredevil way more because it's shorter, less character lines, and better action and dialogue.

They do have chemistry when acting together and they're both completely broken people character-wise so they fit a doomed relationship plotline just fine.

JJ suffers from the same thing that daredevil does though which is that its a bit too long. But it does have a good antagonist.

So far Daredevil and JJ have been the only watchable marvel shows. Luke Cage was barely mediocre to start with and quickly nose dived at the half way mark. A nice soundtrack was not enough to save a show that dull.

I'm not even gonna go near Iron Fist that shit looks like Daredevil light, now with yoga and hipster beards. No thanks.

It's decent, but the pacing is a little off, takes a few episodes to build some tension, then there's an anticlimax, then a couple of episodes later the actual climax, which now feels weakened.
