Consider that with the sword he could effortlessly beat Aku as far back as season one but something always happens before he deals the last blow.
How could Jack be rust if he's been constantly fighting robots for decades? He fought Scaramouch the first episode. He had never fought anyone as strong as the girls and was taken by surprise since he didnt expect it, plus he was distracted by the ghost horseman.

These three episodes have all been better than or on par with the best of the original. Particularly the fights. Despite what normalfags excited for the revival will tell you, seasons 1-4 almost completely devoid of impressive fights. The series was valued much more for its artistic direction. The Scaramouch, tomb, and snow fights are better than everything from the original.

As a result, his works aren't necessarily artistically interesting but what sets it apart is his execution.

Cartoon Network almost blew off his original pitch for Dexter's Laboratory because the premise and artwork looked boring as fuck but once they saw the pilot they realized it was Genndy's execution that really set it apart.

There aren't really any bad episodes from the original seasons. It was always the art direction that carried the show and that's looking to still be one of the best part's of this season. The fights are definitely better but the original definitely still has tons of instances of better art direction than anything shown so far, but that's not very fair because it's only 3 episodes.

It's the weakest theme I've ever seen then. It's unrealistic to ignore the events of the first seasons and what would have obviously happened in the 50 years between where Jack must have killed at least a few people. And Jack clearly didn't give much of a fuck about killing humans in this episode after one of them stabbed him in the stomach with a dagger and he almost died from it and then warning them before fighting.

I don't know why you're trying to push this shit so hard. The creators clearly don't care that much. Jack isn't some twink who is going to suffer an existential crisis from having to kill people trying to kill him.

It's like you actually didn't even watch the episode. Ghost Jack specifically pointed out that all of Jack's suffering in the cave was not due to the stab wound, because he'd 'been through worse,' but due to killing a human woman. And once again immediately after that he actually says 'we've never killed a human before.' How you can argue against the writers of the show itself is beyond me.
