One of my buddies was one of many VFX supervisors on Fast (both 7 and 8), he hasn't seen the finished cut (and frankly doesn't want to) so he can't give away the ending or anything - he says production was an absolute shitshow with Universal (though not as bad as 7 w/ Paul Walker and all), if yall have any questions about it I'll ask him.

General things:
Vin Diesel is a huge asshole who hangs out in his trailer all day and wasn't even willing to do the final fight scene in 7.
Paul Walker was a total bro, super nice to all the crew on set, hung out with and knew everyone's name.
Rocky is also pretty chill, not to the same level as Paul but still a generally nice guy.
If you remember the cars-from-a-plane scene in F7, yes, they actually did that, but none of that footage was used in the final cut and it was all done in CG due to fucked up camerawork (a common theme throughout production)
