Star Trek Beyond Didn't do well domestically, (which is a shame, as it was a decent film) and most likely ended the star trek movies for now.

John Wick 2 didn't even make 100 million domestic and outside of the power rangers film they just have a MLP and a young adult movie they don't expect much of. They will be hard pressed to make 600 million this year.

Sony actually does okay amount of stuff - there bread and butter includes Bond films, Adam sander, and so on. The only question was if Sony was going to sell it to focus on there consumer product division, but they are now leaning towards being a Insurance company, and Sony pictures does well in that regard.
