Not OP but I saw it a few hours ago. The most you see is Zero-G blood and snapped fingers.

Film had me on edge during the first few deaths, but it got a bit predictable toward the end. Pretty good space movie in the end though.

It starts as a single cell organism iirc and the crew change it's environment in the lab which causes it to rapidly grow into what looks like a transparent flower, it becomes intelligent pretty fast and escapes quarantine. Eventually it becomes some sort of tentacle creature after it feeds on the dead crew it kills.

So you said that the alien got to Earth and some Vietnamese guys unleashed it.
How the fuck did it get there? Surely they would have taken precautions after some of the people were killed to keep the ayy away from Earth.

They did everything they could to get it away, but each time somebody fucked up somehow. They lost communications with Earth early on. It eventually shows away in an escape pod they tried to pilot into deep space, so it gets to Earth safely.

See it of you want, but I didn't like it. I would give it a 4.5/10, 5 being average.

First it is pretty good, then every character starts acting absolutely moronic just to make it easier for the script writers, which means you stop giving a shit about the characters.

The ending is a really poor man's Knight Shamalyan, because you saw it coming miles away.

All in all, a rather weak Alien ripoff, decent build-up but poor payoff.
