Yeah. It would've been better from a storytelling perspective (a shock ""bad"" ending like in the first Saw), better than yet another "good" ending like every fucking movie...

also they tried really hard the more the movie went to make him seem like a villain to justify the ending. but he was in the right, mostly.

I mean, lets say in Taken, the main character kidnaps random dudes and torture/kill them because they kidnapped his daughter, and he's acclaimed as the hero, right?

So are we supposed to buy that this guy is a villain because he kidnaps the person who KILLED his daughter and bought her way free?
