ITT: shitty film criticisms
>it wasn't memorable
>>80823631
>Cords in the pool
Do Americans really do this?
>>80823631
>characters weren't relatable
>characters never changed
>it's boring
>it has bad pacing
>it has bad cinematography(doesn't back up argument)
>>80823656
why do white people want to die so badly
>I didn't like the main character
>>80823656
>european plugs
>european beer
>>80823656
That's Germany.
>it was all substance no style
>movie has situation the 18 year old "film expert" has never experienced and couldn't possibly imagine experiencing
>"the acting was bad"
>Anon makes post about classic movie which has been discussed at length for 30+ years
>"This movie sucks it's boring"
>>80823684
>>it's boring
>>it has bad pacing
These are all valid if you can back it up.
>>80825715
Um ... isn't that backward?
>>80823631
>it's a classic
>it's iconic
>it's timeless
>it's important
>it's film history
All of this means jack shit for whether or not one should enjoy the movie.
>>80823631
I'm more concerned about that fucking leaning on the edge, once that water starts coming out it ain't gonna stop.
>it was my childhood
>I am such a nerd
>>80825871
It depends whether you care about film history. I've enjoyed watching some classic or "important" films even though I didn't like them, but it's interesting to see whatever made them important at the time. I guess there are different reasons to watch movies.
>>80825869
idk. It's bullshit whatever it is.
>>80823631
>that 1910 power strip
nice try hans
> He actually thinks they have it plugged in
>>80823656
Seems more like an eastern european/Russian thing to do
>>80823631
i'm surprised an image this old still gets replies with "americans". it was, at least 10 years ago, "bait" (well before that term was used this way) in a demotivational poster
>>80826565
Yeah this is one of the oldest jokes on the internet but somehow, every time, it works.
>>80823631
I never understood why these Americans are supposed to be stupid. Those outlets probably have protective lids on them, meaning it wouldn't matter if they got splashed with water.
>>80826565
>>80826588
You are the ones getting baited
I always reply to this picture saying that same thing and it never fails to get replies from people like you
>>80825643

Americans on holiday
>it was fun
>>80825643
The sockets are weird desu.
The ground bolt is shaped differently than in French-European model and every single other one has the bolts on the male plug. It may be just the perspective.
>it didn't align with my politics
>>80829006
>Mfw I watched punishment park earlier and it did align with my politics
>>80823631
I remember when this image was always posted on /sp/.
>>80823631
>once you come out of the cinema you will want to go straight back in and see it again
Has anybody actually done this?
>>80823631
If a movie was so boring you don't remember most or any of it, that makes it bad.
>>80825847
I agree with the pacing, but boring is entirely subjective.
>>80823631
>>80831281
This, I use "how much of it I can remember in a week" as a metric.
>>80831364
>boring is entirely subjective
This is true, but it's a subject people are so passionate about they often forget this.
>>80823656
Are Europeans really this obsessed?
>the movie has no point or message whatsoever
