The recent Sentai zords have been such shit, that Saban and American Bandai had to step in and tell Toei to quit making the Zords look so ugly. I remember hearing why they skipped ToQger was because Saban watched an episode and thought it was hideous and unmarketable.

I only watched the first 3 episodes and they were mostly focused on Red. None of the others got to be in the spotlight. The story is kind of interesting but they should have gone with some of their own assets, how toy-like much of the props look is really distracting. Its worse than usual.
