While the space battle was very enjoyable I thought the Star Destroyers looked Too white. It seemed a bit unrealistic that something that size with that many components was so immaculately clean and uniformly painted.

Well I should have said "folding" instead of "bending", because folding is what I think they should do. Each round joint should be able to rotate enough to enable the leg to fold in on itself. Like an old carpenter's rule. Also the shafts that make up the long parts of the legs should be able to telescope in or out on themselves, so they can either lengthen or shorten as they fold up so the main body can rest on them..

fuck you. this scene made no sense. in the original series, vader never uses his lightsaber other than to duel luke and obiwan. time and time again, we're reminded that lightsabers were outdated, elegant relics of a different era, lost to time, like a samurai and his sword during the meiji restoration period (im not a weeb, lucas is). vader is supposed to be an old man still clinging to his archaic religious values. the only reason he uses his saber against luke and obi-wan is because he holds so much respect for jedi/sith tradition. vader doesn't do much legwork at all, so it's strange that he all the sudden goes berserker prequel memester in this scene. you have no idea what the fuck real kino is if you think this didn't ruin vader's image.
also the whole force thing really pissed me off. we're supposed to be looking at a grittier/blurred lines version of the star wars tale, yet all of the sudden every fucking rebel is saying "may the force be with us?" again and again throughout the film. The force is supposed to be a remnant of the past at this point, not a mainstream religion. it was never a rebel mantra to say such things. it completely loses its significance when it is used constantly by all the "good guys".

it literally gives people insight to the mind of a suicide bomber. I saw a thorough breakdown of this idea when the movie first came out, and there were lines of dialogue similar to the Koran which the average Christian or Atheist wouldn't pick up on, and subtle and not so subtle Islamic imagery. The guy went on to say how it was a plot of the Mossad, Leftists, etc to plant the idea of suicide bombing into the minds of the viewers. It was a very interesting read.

During their convo, Krennic is clearly intimidated by him, which makes sense because Vader is so bad-ass and hardcore right? He walks into a room full of officers and no one panics. Vader clearly does not even have the authority, let alone the reputation for harming imperial officers when he doesn't get his way. Vader doesn't get that reputation until Empire when he takes over for Tarkin, yet Krennic acts like he's read the script for Empire.

It's a lack of internal consistency in the service of fan masturbation.
